to bring in numerous new faces to the Parc des Princes.
Paris Saint-Germain have never been so active in the transfer window. Every day, Les Parisiens are linked with a new player/s. Though not all rumours could be true, the intent from the PSG direction is clear. The club wants to become a force to be reckoned

Last season, Paris Saint-Germain finished fourth in the Ligue 1 and gained an automatic qualification to the 2011/2012 edition of the UEFA Europa League. The club would definitely be looking to field a strong side for the 2011/2012 season in a bid to compete
on two fronts – domestic and in Europe.
Competition for places in the starting XI is bound to be tough next season and many players are expected to leave the Parc des Princes. The likes of Mevlut Erdinç, Jeremy Clement, Siaka Tiene and Peguy Luyindula are expected to leave the club this summer.
A new left-back
Last season, Cote d’Ivoire international Siaka Tiene started at the left-back position for PSG. However, the 29-year-old was dropped after showing a lot of inconsistency. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sylvain-Armand-c34429 replaced the Ivorian at left-back and played as a left-back till the
end of the campaign. The club http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Captain-c8314 is a centre-back by trade but his versatility allowed him to excel at a role the Frenchman was unfamiliar with when he started the 2010/2011 campaign.
Rumours in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 suggest that Tiene might be leaving Parc des Princes this summer and the club is also looking for a recognised left-back. Recently the club has been linked with a few left-backs.
Initially, PSG were looking to sign Italian international Domenico Criscito from Serie A side Genoa. However, the club failed to land the 24-year-old who chose to sign for Russian Premier League side Zenit St.Petersburg. After failing to land the talented
left-back, PSG should consider other options.
Bettor.com takes a look at few of the left-backs who might be a good addition to the PSG squad.
Benoit Tremoulinas (Girondins de Bordeaux)
The 25-year-old Frenchman is considered to be one of the best left-backs in the Ligue 1 and is already attracting a lot of interest from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130. Last season, the Lormont-born player made 31 appearances for Les Girondins
and played an integral part in helping Bordeaux move far away from the relegation zone. Though Tremoulinas has two more years left on his contract, the player might leave the club this summer and PSG should be looking to bring in the experienced left-back
to the Parc des Princes.
Gael Clichy (http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429)
The Arsenal man is reportedly attracting a lot of interest from the likes of AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809. Rumours in France indicate that PSG are willing to offer Arsenal 15 million Euros for the services of the former Cannes man. The 25-year-old has abundant
experience of playing at the top level and can be an attacking threat as well.
With PSG looking to build a strong squad ahead of the 2011/2012 season, Clichy could prove to be a valuable addition to PSG.
