A football team is made up of eleven players, a few substitutes. However, there are some players who grow tired of warming the bench most of the time and should use the Mercato as a platform to revive their stalled careers

Club: Paris Saint-Germain
Position: Striker
It is really hard to imagine what exactly happened to Kevin Gameiro to make him so highly unwanted at Paris Saint-Germain. A great 2010/2011 Ligue 1 campaign with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Lorient-c39153 saw the striker earn a move to the Ile club who were only recently bought by the
Qataris at that time.
The striker came to Parc des Princes as one of the most lethal finishers in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 and topscorer from last season.
PSG paid Lorient around 11 million euros to sign the striker as he joined the capital club with envy and determination. However, things were destined to change following the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti who quickly changed things.
The Italian tactician used a system without a real striker, which meant that the 25-year-old was confined to the bench or just cameo appearances. Despite scoring 11 goals in 27 Ligue 1 games, Gameiro had a complicated season with the club.
Add to that, the arrival of a world class striker in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 from AC Milan means that Gameiro’s playing time will melt like snow for sure.
PSG sporting director, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 were keen on signing the player but Los Che are yet to make a concrete offer.
Gameiro realises that in order to revive his stalled career, a move away from Parc des Princes should happen. So far, no club has approached the striker but a transfer should materialise as the player seems surplus to requirements.

Club: FC Girondins de Bordeaux
Position: Right-back
Let’s take a look at the case of a player who is left sulking on the bench and has made no secret of his desire to play elsewhere. Under the guidance of Laurent Blanc at FC Girondins de Bordeaux, Mathieu Chalmé became a huge star for the Aquitaine club.
Snatched from Lille in the summer of 2007, the Gironde-born player has lost his
grinta eversince he won the Ligue 1 Championelle with Bordeaux in 2009. The arrival of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jean-c18112 Tigana when Blanc left to manage the French national team saw Chalmé lose his place in the starting XI.
Tigana preferred using Lamine Sane. However, Francis Gillot’s arrival in the summer of 2011 gave Chalmé hope of better days to come. This was true until the 2012 winter transfer window when the Brazilian, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mariano-c23890 was brought to the Stade Chaban Delmas.
At the age of 31, Chalmé is clearly not an integral part of Gillot’s side. Just like Gameiro, Chalmé’s time is melting away like snow. With an average of 33 starts a season under Blanc, Chalmé average dropped to 20 under Tigana before falling to 8 starts
under http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Francis-c13946 Gillot – a miserable tally indeed.
However, there is still hope for the 31-year-old. OGC Nice coach, Claude Puel, who managed Chalmé during his time as Lille coach, wants to be reunited with the player.
“It (Nice) would interest me. He (Puel) knows me, I know him. But for now, there is nothing concrete,” said Chalmé while talking about a proposed move to Les Aiglons.
A move away from the Aquitaine region is the best solution for Chalmé who is no more part of Gillot’s plans for next season.
