Like animal fights? Especially losing raccoons?

Question

I had a raccoon that has been destroying my garden all summer. Big one of about 35 pounds. My dog got into it with him tonight. And my dog is no Wuz. He did some serious damage to the raccoon. I was going to dispatch it but the air gun had an empty CO2. Proud of my dog. Just like me he never loses and never gets hurt. A 106 pound Yellow Lab/Pit Bull. Gentle as can be unless confronted. He also runs off a big stag deer I place at between 225 and 250. He protects the neighbors kids as the deer tries to cool off on hot days in their wadding pool.

Even if the raccoon was destroying your garden I wouldn't let my pet at it. First of all the raccoon could have had a disease if it were out in the daylight. Second, I think it was pretty cruel to do that. Sure the raccoon destroyed your garden, but killing him? Come on. Look what people did  to animals in the past. Think about what's going to happen to them in the future. My  dog  is a mastiff (big and huge) and will not even hurt a fly, but still protects the house when  a stranger comes near. I don't want to sound like a prissy little activist, but really, that wasn't right letting your dog on the raccoon and letting the poor animal suffer. I hate when people kill other animals, even if someone steps on a tiny bug. And watching animals fighting for entertainment is cruel, unless if it were  predator and prey.

that was very cruel you could get fined from the RSPCA or an animal protection raccoons are protected

and you can get fined thousands for doing that the raccoon digs holes

so does a dog

it wasn't the raccoons flat a raccoon is an animal not a human it doesn't know not to go into your garden if you were that raccoon would you like to lose your life just because you made a mistake why dint you just ring your local animal person or something and get them to come out and catch the raccoon and REL ESE it into the wild i actually work for the SPCA and i can ring and get some one to fine you if you do that to the poor animal
