Like my poem?

Question

you are a bark without sound

on a ponderosa tree you are found

only when time implodes

your puzzle will unfold

without you the sage would not glow

the golden grass wind would not flow

antilope brush i could not see

a 10,000 year old juniper kinda resembles a tree

ooch i would curse the prickly pear

ewww the lichen looks like messy hair

it is quirky and the metaphors are good. But I think you should stick to your theme or subject of the poem and make it v obvious what you are trying to say/evoke.  The last 2 stanzas kinda go off the point. Im guessing it's a love poem? good work you have style, but stick to the passionate point, a poem must be convincing.

Well yes, I do. For some reason that I cannot explain.

It doesnt move me or inspire me (because i dont feel any romance or life's philosophy in it) but i really really like it.

It made me smile.

Well that's right, poems do not have to rhyme, but rhyming brings delight to a poem. Watch your meter, it isn't consistent.
