My previous question was if restaurant decide to stop using disposable take-away package for our environment, would you support it and bring your own food or beverage containers?

As my thesis project, I'm going to create a sustainable take-away package and make "no disposable take-out package" campaign. Do you think it works?

  1. There are these great little metal pot looking things that I've seen in Asia and India that are like a lunch box, they have a couple stackable layers with a locking lid. I've seen a few people bring them into restraunts for togo orders.

  2. yes!! great idea

  3. I think that is a great idea.  I once went to a restaurant that gave customers 10% off or something if they brought their own plates or Tupperware.  I think that's a pretty good idea.

  4. My answer is:  Some people will bring or use a take-home container but it may be inconvenient for others, especially if they did not plan to have a restaurant meal and it was a last minute decision to eat out. Maybe a bio-degradable material in a take-home container would solve the problem that we now have with styrofoam and plastics that will not break down.

  5. I  already  bring  a  Pyrex  dish  to  my  favorite  restaurant  for  to  go orders .  .  .

Except  Pizza ,  I  have  not  yet   found  a  good  reuse-able  container  for  Pizza .

Do  That  !    Millions  order  Pizza  !

  6. Wow!  That is a really great idea.  I seriously have never thought of that before (yet another thing in our lives that we aren't consious of and that is hurting the environment!)

Many eco-people would do it. I would.  I'm sure some people would, however I think most of the public would be too lazy.  The lazy people would be unaware of what all the pizza boxes etc. harm to the environment.

    Great idea!  Keep it going!

  7. Personally i think its a great idea, and I'm sure many other eco-friendly people would too.

However the majority of the public would probably be too lazy to do this.

Its a brilliant idea however and I say keep going with it!

  8. I think it would.  We already save the plastic containers that salad comes in from places like Jack in the Box, and some pizza places.   We use them all the time as a way to transport deviled eggs, stuffed jalepenos, and other stuff like that.

  9. I would definitely invest in this.  I think it is a great idea and I have often wondered why no one has done this before.

  10. Ya. If its environmental friendly
