Like the european union (EU), is it possible for an asian union (AU)?

can Asia have one currency?

can they have a supreme regulating and monitoring body?

can they promulgate trade policies beneficial for all of Asia?

In Europe, people are -almost all- Christians, bu t in Asia there are differrent religions. Firstly they have to show respect to each other.

Secondly, being humanist and think all the poeple as world citizens instead of their nations, will help them to constitute a union.

These kind of social developments are really needed for a union. Now, it is not possible, but education will help everything. If they really want they can...

The ASEAN is an organization on the Southeast Asian region that aims to accelerate economic growth, social progress, and cultural development among its members and the promotion of regional peace. But I doubt that there is any drive as there was in Europe for an Asian Union or Asian Federation.

Asean already exists AFAIK- and remember the EU was only a common market not so long ago.

The NWO wants these supra-national entities as  stepping stones to World Government.

Not in my life time 48 nations, some of whom hate each other.  Also look at the differences in size. Although 10 have gotten together to assist. I don't expect an AU.
