Because people have rights.  The Supreme Court said in the Tennessee v. Garner decision that deadly force can only be used by law enforcement if someone is in danger.

It would be a little hypocritical of us to start doing the same things that we have been bashing other countries for doing. Besides in order to shoot someone you have to know where they are and be there when they get there, time consuming and expensive. A more practical method would be to lay down realistic fake mines that you let everyone see you install but you don't tell them that they are fake. Every once in a while you install a real mine and detonate it with a cadaver that you let lay for a while.

When the Mexican Mafia began making excellent forgeries of the American Documents, the whole profile of illegal aliens from Mexico changed a great deal.  Essentially, a wealthier and a criminal illegal alien began coming to this country and paid a pretty stiff price for those I.D.s.   Mr. Bush suggested they were coming for a job, but that criminal element were coming for the wrong type of job indeed, and the rest of the wealthy were out for something other than a good job also.  I think it is clear welfare benefits for illegal aliens began rising as the brighter of the illegal aliens tapped into the system.  It was always a problem, but a mole hill of fraudulent welfare applicants grew up to be a mountain of welfare applicants.

We just want to get rid of them.. not hurt them.  We can do that if Congress enforces the laws of the land.  I think we are finally headed in the correct direction, and that we have to gain control of the Congress on this issue.. on our population base generally in fact.  

But there are a lot of Mexicans still coming who need more than just being returned.  We don't want to shoot those folks..we don't want to shoot anyone... but we do want to help them.  We want to help them, and Mexico has turned us down for that help a long, long time.

Because we are moving to stop accepting the illegal aliens, Mexico is having to keep their illegal aliens.  I believe Congress is working behind our backs to achieve part of their goals, but a good number are having to remain in Mexico, and Mexico is going to have to deal with the problems their corruption has created.  

That is my goal too.  And if we can make Mexico do its job for its people, Mexico could be one very nice place to live, and a first world country.  And if the Mexican Nationals are forced to remain in Mexico, they will make those efforts to improve their circumstances.
