Lil Risky all set to dominate Coral On TV Standard Trophy - Heat 1 at Romford
Lil Risky looks in terrific position to hammer his rivals in the opening heat of Coral On TV Standard Trophy, scheduled to take place at Romford on Monday, March 26, 2012.
The 400 metres flat competition will begin at 19:27 GMT. The Grade OR clash holds a cash prize of £150, which will be handed to the ultimate champion.
The runners competing in the clash are: Lil Risky, Ballymac Denis, Packin Heat, Strawpedo Joe, Asisola and Savana Ted.
Lil Risky holds a wonderful track record under his belt. After sealing four back to back wins, the white and brindle dog lost a bit of his momentum last time around.
After being baulked at the first bend, he finished third on the table. It was definitely an embarrassing outcome for Lil Risky’s fans, who were expecting him to spark.
An embarrassing defeat would have dented his confidence to some extent, but nobody can take anything away from him. The M. Wallis-trained will look to repeat his winning performance to make it to the next round easily.
Ballymac Denis might spoil Lil Risky’s party. The bindle dog is doing a reasonable job these days, as he won two of his last three races. In his most recent trip, he defeated Swan Storm by ½ of a length.
He will be back on Romford’s track after a long break. Yet his rivals cannot afford to take things lightly against him.
Another hound with decent chances is Packin Heat. There is no doubt over his abilities, but his tradition of getting inconsistent might hamper the punters from supporting him.
In his last race on March 21, the black coloured sealed top position by a neck distance. Since there are some dangerous runners in the line-up, a flying start is the only hope. Strawpedo Joe has a lot of pace and thus, he cannot be taken lightly.
It will be a hard battle between Lil Risky and Ballymac Denis. The former of the two has better chances, but Ballymac Denis is definitely a dangerous hound. Regardless of the final outcome, it is going to be an entertaining clash. Bettor.com wishes best
of luck to everyone.
