Lil Risky heading for the Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy at Nottingham

The Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy will be staged at Nottingham over 305 metres flat on Monday, 4th June. Taking part in the £150 event are All For David, Proud Patsy, Lil Risky, Corleones Dondon, Rushmoor Andy and Clomantagh Rock.
One of the strongest contenders is Lil Risky, Ballymac Maeve’s three-year-old white and bridle son out of b***h, Risk The Town. His seasonal debut was on 6th January at Hall Green in a 233 metres race. The three-year-old was done racing in 14.35
seconds.
From 24th February to 15th March he extended the winning streak to four and failed to attach the fifth win as he ended third in the fifth race. He then won the first heat of the Coral On TV Standard Trophy on 26th March at
Romford over 400 metres.
He won as the 10/11 favourite of the race after timing the track distance in 23.95 seconds and taking lead of 7 ¾ lengths.
Finishing the closest was Savana Ted and ending third behind the winner was Strawepdo Joe.
He missed the very next start to a fourth position and then bounced back in the Millennium Stand Bookmakers Golden Sprint – Heat 2 on 6th April at Romford over 400 metres.
He was sent as the 10/11 favourite and led the line-up by concluding the race in 24.08 seconds. After covering the three lengths’ gap, Yahoo Ned followed in as the runner up and was soon joined by Daughter Of Peg.
Lil Risky then claimed the West Ilsley Stables Punt On  A Pup Stakes on 3rd May at Hove over 285 metres after reaching the other end of the wire in 16.31 seconds. He led the track by just half a length and had Swabys Tony closing in the quickest.
The 11/10 favourite of the race, Jimmy Lollie, ended fourth after taking 16.63 seconds.
Till yet his last win of the season was in the Tom Fruit Sprint on 20th May at Coventry over 263 metres. The 4/9 favourite was through the track distance in 15.92 seconds and he led the runner up, Minglers Jaguar, by 1 ¼ lengths.
His last race had him finishing fifth. The blow from such a down trodden ranking will prompt him to grab the chance tonight.
