Lil Risky to make the most of the John Smiths Peterborough Derby 2012 – Heat 2
The white and brindle three-year-old, Lil Risky is the brightest prospect for the John Smiths Peterborough Derby 2012 – Heat 2 on Wednesday, 25th July over 420 metres flat at Peterborough. The £100 event has attracted Markeys Dragon, Droopys Bach,
Farley Max, Mountjoy Rock and Crossfield Halle.
The three-year-old ended sixth in the most recent outing and a miserable position as low as this one surfaced four outings before where Ballymac Maeve’s son finished fifth.
The hound slipped into the new season on 6th January, 2012 at Hall Green over 233 metres. He set into an early pace after breaking from the second stall and was quick to take the lead, timing the track distance in 14.35 seconds with 2 ¼ lengths
under his belt.
Farloe Luigi settled as the runner-up.
The three-year-old took charge of the very next race too but had to miss the hat-trick to a second position on 14th January, 2012 at Yarmouth over 277 metres. Lil Risky then landed four races in a row from 24th February, 2012 to 15th
March, 2012.
The white and brindle dog struck the seasonal hat-trick on 8th March, 2012 at Swindon in the Ladbrokes Mobile Sprint over 285 metres. The favourite entry leashed out from the second trap, raced towards the rails and soon took up the lead, landing
the race in 16.31 seconds.
Swabys Tony missed the race by a mere neck’s margin and timed the distance in 16.33 seconds.
The Mark Wallis trained scored beyond hat-trick in the Stondon Dash on 15th March, 2012 at Henlow over 277 metres. Lil Risky broke strongly and had the race going for himself in 16.56 seconds while winning by the margin of 2 ½ lengths.
High Noon, the runner-up timed the track distance in 16.76 seconds.
Until yet the final success of the three-year-old out of b***h, Risk The Town, was in the Williamhill.Com Classic – Heat 4 on 30th June, 2012 at Sunderland over 450 metres. He reached the other end of the wire in 27.08 seconds.
The training session on 16th July, 2012 at Peterborough over 420 metres has made the chances of success for the three-year-old concrete.
