Lilac and sage wedding?!?!?!?

Question

lilac dresses, sage vest and tie for guys, light shades of purple and green accents for the flowers, cream table cloths and green and purple table runners alternating colors. cant use candles in reception and flower centerpieces are $$$$$ any ideas at all for my weddign please let me know.

Use a variety of clear vases, place ferns or other greenery (a florist or garden store should be able to help you choose something) inside the vase, tie  lilac and cream ribbons around the outside of the vases.  Simple.  Easy.  Cheap

You can get cheap candles at Target. Lilac roses aren't very expensive and baby breaths aren't either. You just have to shop wholesale. Also, at Party City they have little goblets that you can put candy in and put them around the table. I'm having a lilac wedding too!! =)

If you cannot use candles, use small framed photographs.

Use framed photos of bride and groom at various stages of their lives, and engagement photos of the two of them together.

Surround photos with greenery . . . and you have centerpieces!

Well the whole balloons in a wedding is TACKY!

Therefore, this is my idea for you...

Go to a whole sale flowers shop or online and purchase roses in white, creme or lilac they even sell green roses. and sink them into tall narrow centerpieces like this...

How about weighted balloons for the tables in lilac and sage to compliment the dresses - these are cheaper than flowers.
