Lille not to keen on letting Eden Hazard join Arsenal and state that he is twice as good as Samir Nasri
Arsenal went on to lose both Cesc Fabregas and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 over the course of the summer transfer window. As a result, the team is now in a desperate hunt to bring in a number of reinforcements before the end of the transfer window.
One player who has almost always been linked with a move to the North London club is Lille forward and Belgian international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863. The youngster has been running riot in the Ligue 1 and Arsene Wenger has gone on to admit that he is a big fan of the
player.
However, following the move of Nasri to City for such a ridiculous fee, it seems like Lille are looking to demand nearly twice as much as Arsenal received from the sale of Nasri.
Seydoux, when talking about the potential of losing out Hazard and while talking about Nasri’s sale is quoted to have said: "When you see someone like Nasri switching clubs for €28m although he only had one year left on his contract, I'd say that Eden is
worth at least twice that much"
He then went on to admit that the French side were not looking to sell any more players and with the team built around Hazard, his loss would come as a massive blow to the French side.
He then went on to add: "We are not selling any players. The team is built around Eden and we count on him. Nobody has contacted me about him, so there's no reason to think that he will not be with us on September 1."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gervinho-c14755 from Lille this summer, which means that the French side are willing to do business, only if the price is right. Now with them demanding around twenty eight million or more for Hazard, it is up to Wenger and the Arsenal board
to help the Ligue 1 side see otherwise.
At the moment Hazard is valued in the market for a price set around the region of twenty two million pounds, which is all honesty should be enough to let him leave for Arsenal.
However, following the inexplicable transfers that have taken place in the transfer window and considering the fact that Hazard’s contract runs until the summer of 2015, they have gotten a little greedy.
Nonetheless, should Hazard decide to move in and push for a move away from the club, then he is more than likely to be at the Emirates before the start of the coming month.
