  3. It is called Nuevo Sol. You will get S/.2.65 (Nuevos Soles) per  $1.00.

    Almost everywhere you will find "cambistas" informal "money changers" who will exchange foregin currency. They ususally pay more than banks, but PLEASE do go to banks, it is safer there. =)
