I heard it really helps so I went out and bought one but it keeps on sliding down the barrel because its too big, is there something I can do to fix this? as far as I know it only comes in one size, and I have a Savage model 111 (30-06 caliber). anyhelp would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

  1. G'Day mate you have got me there.Isn't  a limb saver  a recoil pad that go on yr butt of the rifle? if it is i don't understand how it slides down yr barrel, unless you put in on yr barrel and blast a hole through it.Anyway if it the one that goes on yr butt of the gun what i have don in the past is the sling stud that's on yr gun unscrew it and put it through the sleeve of the limb saver and s***w it back onto the gun, that's always worked 4 me.Or get a thicker recoil pad screwed on to yr gun.cheers mate

  2. That Savage ought to shoot close to MOA. right out of the box.

Don't mess with gadgets like a resonator until you see a need for them.

They have limited application at best in tuning for specific loads.

  3. I have purchased used rifles with those 'donuts' on them and they got removed and tossed when I got home. It may work on some rifles that have problems, but I'm a skeptic.
