Lime or lemon? can lime be a subsitute?

you know how lemon has many cleansing properties, gets rid of stain,and such.

Does the lime work too? can it replce the lemon in polishing glass and cleaning things?

well i don't know about glass because your just just like liquid if you squeeze it. but i would just perfer soap.
