what firewalls effect lime wire because ive been haveing a connection problem.

  1. With Limewire you really need a good Internet Security Suite, not a FREE one.

    Limewire fix:

    Uninstall Limewire.

    Uninstall Java (in add/remove programs)

    Install Java first from www.java.com

    Install Limewire 4.18.3 from www.limewire.com

    Your Firewall will detect Limewire and allow it.

    Remember that Limewire is file sharing and does not give viruses, the shared computer you download from may be infected.
