Limerick is irelands safest city, do you believe me?

official, apart from the small matter of murder (lets face it the gurriers only shoot each other) limerick is irelands safest city, so why the bad press?

cause its full of irish people who make bombs...and hurt each other, and other people, and blackmail, kidnap, torture...etc...you have a republican army, or you dont....not just when it suits....

I spent a weekend in Limerick last year and had a great time. I'd say like any othe city there is the places to avoid but the main thoroughfare has great night life and fab pubs and restaurants. Would definately recommend it for a weekend away. Also good shopping.
