Limewire Connection Low?

Question

When i go on to Limewire the connection is really low it only on one bar even if i leave it for about 5 minutes, its not my internet connection, what can it be?

wel its mainly summet to do with yur internet connection or firewall etc best thing uninstall it then install it again that might work

--- can't help you much but I do know that the same thing has been happening to me -- maybe try updating your software..

It might not be the best answer, but I would un install Limewire and install FROSTWIRE a much safer program and completely free

Sometimes a client seems to have a harder time tunneling into the Gnutella network than at others.   I've had this happen intermittently too and have responded here to others who do. Sometimes it seems better, sometimes worse, and the problem does not seem to be constant, but my sneaky feeling is that, on top of other issues, ISPs are beginning to increasingly mess with P2P protocol traffic.  Ask them straight out!
