Limewire Downloading Help

I have a friend who uses lime wire. He downloads song all the time, but he doesnt share them. Can he get in trouble with the government?? If he can get in trouble what is the penalty?

Yes. The RIAA (Recording Industry of America Assosciation) tracks and will prosecute IP addresses they find violating copyrighted material.
