Limewire/ Itunes song help!?

Question

I downloaded a few songs from limewire that I want to put in my iTunes. I know what folder to put the songs in to go into the itunes library, but since I am using limewire, the artist and the album name of the file are usually something like the website that put the song on limewire or they ususally put the artist AND the song title in the song line e.g.

Paris, Tokyo- Lupe Fiasco (song name)

www.lupesongs.com (artist)

www.lupesongs.com (album)

when I put the song in my itunes libary, the artist of my song is www.lupesongs.com! before I put the song into itunes, I tried rightclicking and clicking rename, but that only let me rename the song name, not the artist or album.

please help, how do I change the artist and album name of a song?!

also, www.lupesongs.com was just an example, i have no idea if it is a real site...

What you need my friend is a good old trustee 'mp3 tag editor'.. and lucky for you there are tons out there which are freely available..

When the song is in itunes, right click on the song and click "get info". Then click the tab that says "info". You can change all the info for the song there.

Put the songs into Itunes, and then once they are in, find them in your Itunes library, right click on them, and choose "Get info" That will open a window and from there you choose the second tab at the top of it.  From there you should be able to edit song name, artist, album, etc
