Limewire Troubles - please help :)?

Question

I used to have the old limewire . I'm not sure what version it was but it was an old one . And every time i searched anything it would say Limewire is connecting to the network blah blah blah . It would always say that no matter how long i waited so i thought to update my limewire to the newer version (not pro) . This is a few days ago . And it worked fine for about a week but just now its gone back to the "connecting to the network" problem . Does anybody know why this is happening ? Is it happening to anyone else ?

Note : The "newer" version i updated to was version 4.18.3

I also use Limewire, tried the "new" version, went back to the old one, the "new" one never worked right. Later I came across MP3 Rocket 5.0.3, it works with limewire and I have never had a problem with it so you might want to try that.

As for Frostwire mentioned in other answer, I haven't heard of it, may have to check it out if it has less false files.

Forget Limewire and download Frostwire.  It is similar to Limewire, but with fewer bugs and fake files.
