Limewire connection?

so my limewire will not work!

it opens and i go to file>connect and normally it loads real fast

but not it wont load, i have tried redownloading it and such but it wont work! i did finally realize that the little "connection thing" at the bottom left hand corner is low, and mostly red,

how do i fix that! limewires my only way to get music!

I had this same problem, and the only solution I found was a fresh install of limewire. Just uninstall your current version and download the newest version at whatever website you prefer. If that doesnt work, try restarting your computer. The last suggestion I can think of is check and see if your firewall is blocking limewire from fully connecting.

Follow the instructions based on the operating system that you have on your machine. Do not forget to delete the three directories before reinstalling Limewire

i suggest trying to download late at night..say 11-1 because there are generally a small number of people who are using it. i've had that problem too so try downloading either early in morning or late at night.
