Limewire firewall problem?

My limewire opens and everything is working, but it only connects to the internet with ONE bar, and it shows me that i have a firewall. i have the mcafee program on my computer and i couldn't find any way to check if it's the source of the firewall. i checked my computer's control panel's firewall, and that's definitely not the problem. so, help? i don't know how to get my limewire to start working again. i dont even know where this firewall even came from because my limewire was working completely fine like a month ago and out of nowhere a firewall showed up supposedly. :(

Check the firewall that is on.

Whether it be the windows firewall or the mcafee.

When you find out which of the two is on...make sure that limewire is allowed to bypass the firewall.
