Limewire not connecting (just says "you are currently connecting to network") but never does.?

It usually works, but sometimes it just says it's connecting and never actually connects! What can I do to fix this?

I recently had connection problems that I resolved by specifying a different port but there are so many variables, it's difficult to give specific advice. Assuming that you have the latest version and you have already tried reinstalling (remove/reinstall) the program, the best thing is to Google "Limewire connection problems." Don't you think the bands you like deserve to be paid for what they do?

You claim to be a singer/songwriter...don't you want to get paid for that?  Do you really have no problem with people taking your music without paying for it if you ever get a recording contract?  What a hypocrite...
