Limewire not working help??

Question

My limewire opens but it doesnt connect to the network for some reason, ive tried disconnecting and then connecting, updating and all that jazz but its still not working...does anyone know how i can get it working again!? and also can anyone suggest any programs similar to limewire that are good?

I have the same problem, limewire is c**p anyway. Go for torrents

If you're using Windows, you should never download stuff from internet - that's asking for trouble. I use Limewire, frostwire, gtk-gnutella - three programs for gnutella networks - they generally connect to 'turbo connect' in around 4 or 5 seconds.

Apart from these, I use Deluge bit torrent. You have to know that using this kind of software will make you a target for malware, and malware is written by people who don't use windows. For this reason, I don't use Windows either -  I use Ubuntu and it never goes slower - it keeps getting faster and faster with every update that I get from them.

Oh, and it's free too!

yeah, I've had that trouble. your compter is probably jacked up. forget limewire. go to utorrentz.com
