Limewire please please please help!!!!?!?

Question

everytime i go to open limewire it says that i need to allow it acess to the internet. i understand that this means i need to add limewire to the exceptions list on my firewall program. i use zone alarm, and i dont know how to get into to the exceptions list. i also made sure limewire is on the exceptions list for Windows Firewall. please help !

I don't know anything about  zone alarm but i do know that you should not be using 2 firewalls. And if you are then you should disable one of them.It can sometimes be more harmful to have 2 then it is to have one. They are both going to try to do the same job. Hope this helps.

first make sure that windows firewall is off if you have ZoneAlarm. 2 Firewalls creates chaos and actually makes your system more insecure.

Double click on the ZoneAlarm icon on your taskbar (The thing with the clock) Go to programs and delete limewire (or whatever flavor you are using). Restart limewire and when ZoneAlarm pops up select allow to anything with limewire in it
