Limewire pro 4.18 speed sucks?

Question

i have 2mb adsl internet connection and when i want to download with limewire pro 4.18 the speed is 6 or 7 and it sucks.

what should i do to raise up my speed?

Limewire isn't very fast. I doubt there is anything you can do to improve it, unless you get a faster internet connection. Or, CTRL+ALT+DEL, and with Task Manager give Limewire Process a High Priority.

Limewire is good for downloading music, because it has a wide range and the files are pretty small. But it's bad for Movies or TV, because it will take forever. Do the big downloads with Utorrent, and the smaller stuff with Limewire.

Limewire is slow because you need to turn off your firewall from your desktop and from your anti-virus.  Also, go to limewire options and turn it off the firewall.  It speeds the download process that way.
