Limewire???????????????

Question

I just updated limewire with the newest version. My library (which contained hundreds of songs) is now empty, and when I search, nothing comes up. Help!!!!!!!

Yes that will happen, when you download music with limewire.and leave the songs in the library of limewire

You will not be able to get back your music. Its gone, but you can prevent , that it will happen again.

You make a directory preferably on your d drive and call it for example

d:/limewire Music. Then you go to limewire options and also change there the download directory to d:/Limewire Music.

Now limewire will automatically copy the downloads to the new directory

d:/Limewire Music

Now you can update limewire or uninstall limewire as many times as you want, but your songs will be safe in Limewire Music directory

Try going to the saved folder, I think the default one is

My Documents

Limewire

Saved

Check to see if your songs are in there

or the older versions of limewire had them in

Local Disk C:

Documents and settings

"Your account name"

Shared

Try those two

to gemma: no limewire does not mess up your computer, and you can get rid of it, and NO it is not  illegal

why have limewire!?

it messes up your comp, and u can never properly remove it unless u reformat ur whole comp. massive fine if ur court!!!!!!!£$£$£
