Limit for child abuse?

Question

Okay sorry to burden everyone with this annoying question but I was just wondering something.

What is the saute of limitations for child abuse, if any?

Can the child wait until they turn eighteen before they tell somone what has been going on?

Would the abuser still get into trouble if the victim becomes an adult, and then speaks up?

Could someone please give me some information about this?

While you can report it if there is no proof it is unlikely that anything will be done about it
