Limited Options to sweep the A2 Adopt A Retired Greyhound On 01142 888300 at Sheffield
The Grade A2 Adopt A Retired Greyhound On 01142 888300 will be hosted by Sheffield over 500 metres flat on Tuesday, 5th June. Taking part in the £102 event are Limited Options, Best Nick, Rosden Bale, Tewmax Hannah, Crackemjack and Duckpool Lane.
The most accomplished entry on the line-up for the race today is Limited Options, Ballymac Maeve’s four-year-old dark brindle son out of b***h, Frances Zidane. His first experience of the season was a drilling session over 500 metres at Sheffield on 18th January. He took 29.40 seconds to settle the distance.
His seasonal debut was in a 500 metres race at Sheffield on 25th January. He settled second right next to the winner, Granard Bound, who timed the track distance in 29.87 seconds and led by a head’s difference.
His first seasonal success surfaced on 20th February in a 305 metres race at Nottingham. He reached the other end of the wire in 18.32 seconds and took charge of the final ¾ of a length.
Finishing the closest to the winner was Defi Quest.
In order to keep the level of performance consistent the trainer, M. Wainwright, drilled the four-year-old over 500 metres on 29th February at Sheffield. He completed the task in 29.76 seconds.
The outcome of the following race was not the same as planned. Limited Options scored second in the Grade A1 Night Continues At Napoleons Casino on 9th March at Sheffield over 500 metres. The race was won by Ballymac Ramos who completed the distance in 29.73 seconds.
After remaining winless in the next four races, Limited Options took 16.65 seconds to race through the 280 metres’ drilling session on 30th April at Sheffield.
He then was declared not raced in one of the races and then tossed back to back wins through the next two races. He won a 280 metres race at Sheffield on 14th May by timing the track distance in 16.62 second and led by a short head’s difference.
He then bagged a 500 metres race on 24th May at Sheffield by making it to the other end of the wire in 30.03 seconds. He led the runner up of the race, Broadacres Chief, by a short head’s difference.
