i was having a hard time with this, but i'm going to base this on this amazing famous canadian painter who i got to meet and work with before he died. i got to see this piece at the hhof years before i even met the painter.

i would have said as an oilers (obviously a canadian team). but either way it'll be that jersey, that team, that player, and his number.

I would choose a Pittsburgh Penguins 1984 Mario Lemieux jersey. The best player ever on my favorite team from the year he was drafted and the year I was born... He was drafted 4 days before I was born so yeah, it would be fate.

Scott Stevens, New Jersey Devils.  Definitely.  He was the perfect leader, and really helped this franchise get to it's 3 Stanley Cups.
