Limo at Prom?

Question

Does anyone have a general idea on how much it might cost per person to rent a limo in Connecticut for Prom?? We'll have about 12 people. I've been trying to look online but all I've been getting are these crappy rate quote offers.

DONT GET A LIMO!!! I tried to get people together to go on a limo and it didnt work at all because first they say yes and when its time for the money to show up, they dont have it!!! Besides, I rented a Hummer and took my date and I and no one even looked at my car because no one CARES like I thought people do!!! So, my advice, save the money and just go and have a fun time!!! GL!

DON'T GET A LIMO!!! This happened at my Prom and it just ended in arguments about who would go with who and people got left out. I think the best thing to do is for someone to organise a coach (a posh one) and everyone go all together...much more fun!!!

What those crappy rate quotes are telling you is - if you want a limo, you're gonna pay dearly because kids your age don't know how to behave on their own...And the limo owners wind up cleaning up after you which costs money to do and money lost because the car is not carrying more clients...For these reasons, limo companies hate proms and grad nights

About the only way to get something now is to have a parent rent (and drive) a van...For 12 people, 2 vans would be needed.
