Limousine hire?

has anybody hired out a limo in the uk?

do you know the average cost? does it cost more to go to another place e.g from york to leeds or sheffield?

I don't know whether it will be a little cheaper in the York area, but we hired one from in Surrey and travelled to London (about 40 miles each way and coming back around 4am) and it was £280. When you split it between 7 of us, it was worth it.

I used http://www.a1limousine.co.uk/ for my birthday. Just Google "limo hire" or something and ask them for their price.

The best way to compare prices, I find, is to find the email address of about 30 different companies, put it in to the BCC area of an email then email them all at once. The BCC means that they don't know you are emailing 29 other companies
