  1. How old is your rat?  Is she older than 18 months?

If she's up there in rat age, some rats get paralysis in their hind legs.

Do check this link from the Rat & Mouse Gazette about "Weakness in Older Rats: A Paralysis Primer".  There is quite a bit of information that may be helpful.

I agree with the other posters who suggest seeing a rattie qualified vet, just to make sure everything is ok.

    Good luck!

  2. Its hard to tell, i doubt it that she has broken her leg, but here are some possible things what could have happened to her

    ~ a nasty fall

    ~ playing to hardly

    ~ broken limb (maybe)

But i personaly wouldnt touch it or mess with her untill u get her 2 the vet!

Good lukc, hope ur rattie is ok!

    Hope this helps!

    Rach x

  3. I would not take any chances with her leg. If it's not cleared up by tomorrow take her into the vet, unless you can see that a cut on her paw or something is the cause. That should heal on it's own, but you should clean it with saline solution. If there is no wound, a vet visit is in order to make sure she doesn't lose permanent use of her leg!
