  1. they are a little costly to keep up so you have to really like one to buy one.  The 05 models came out with a new trans which gives you an extra higher gear so it should get slightly better mileage and also i believe they only take regular gas starting that year so if you thinking about one get the 05 model nice improvements.

  2. don,t please don,t my friend -11m city/16hgw miles/ gallon you must be crazy.it,s another thing -the air suspension on this truck is no good. sometime won,t come up.that,s $5000 repair cost.

  3. The ride is soft (air suspension) with little or no road feel. Interior is nice, amenities are nice as well. Gas mileage is terrible. Maintenance cost are not to bad. For my money I'd rather get the newest Aviator I can find. Firmer ride (springs and shocks) , similar interior and amenities, better gas mileage and the size of an explorer so it's easier to park. Don't see to many Aviators in for major repairs.

  4. My dad had a 2003 Navigator and it was in the shop 2 times a year. These people are wrong about it getting less than 15 mpg, my dad got it up to 16-17 in the city and could get i up to 21 on the freeway! They are pretty safe though and were way ahead of any SUV of its time, and could still compete against most SUVs today. It had so many features and electronics I couldn't see why anybody would even think about an Escalade. So I think they are all around the best SUV out there, but make sure you get it checked up often and it will run great for a long time. Also, I would recommend the 2004 because some of the bugs were worked out that year which means less things to go wrong. But if there's any possible way, look for an 05 or later model because they were the most reliable.

  5. Its good but could be better depends on the miles.

  6. They are good vehicles, no major common problems.

Ride is pretty good.   I don't know why people think you need "road feel".   Who cares?   It's a big SUV.   I want a smooth ride....just because magazines have been telling us for years that we should be able to "feel the road" doesn't mean it's true.   In a sports car, yes.   Corvette, Mustang, etc.

    SUV, family sedan....No.

Gas mileage is bad.  Less than 15mpg is about guaranteed.

  7. everything about it will be high
