Manchester United’s goalkeeper Andres Lindegaard has come out and shot out a warning to United’s main title rivals Manchester City as he has said that City are under pressure in the English Premier League title race. Manchester
City who finished third last season in the Premier League title race are at the top spot in the Premier League table at the moment, two points ahead of Manchester United after defeating the Red Devils by six goals to one, in a one-sided Manchester derby earlier
on in the season.
Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s men have bounced back well from their slip against City albeit a big one. In doing so, United have won seven out of their last eight matches in the league and drawn just once but they have also gone out of the
UEFA Champions League as well as the Carling Cup. Nonetheless, United do remain within touching distance of their Blue neighbours who are showing exemplary form themselves.
United’s goalkeeper who kept a clean sheet in their five goal win over Fulham recently stated, "I think City are already under real pressure. Ever since the City match we have performed well. We were unlucky to go out of the Champions
League and we can only blame ourselves for that, but apart from that we have performed very well – especially recently. We have played some really good games; we haven’t scored as many goals as we should have but we have played some good football. As far as
I know, United have a tradition for being strong in the winter programme, so it is going to be a very tight spring to decide who will be champions."
He added that at Manchester United, the squad is full of good players as every position has two world class players competing for it and the manager himself is not afraid to making use of his squad. Lindegaard will be hoping that
he gets more opportunities to prove himself at United as the season progresses as so far he has played fewer games than http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-de-Gea-c10463.
