Line 6 pod vs other guitar modelers?

Question

I play Metallica, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Pantera, Iron Maiden and other music like that. I also really want to get into blues. I also want a nice clean sound. Doesn't have to sound just like a tube amp, but the closer the better. IT NEEDS TO BE AROUND THE POD'S DIMENSIONS, NOTHING HUGE. I DON'T NEED A WAH OR EXPRESSION PEDAL

Try out the Boss GT-8. Incredible versatility. You won't find anything around this price point without a wah or expression pedal.... and you should have one anyways, even if just for volume.
