Line View keen to make first Tipperary trip successful
This season has proved to be pretty successful for Line View who seems quite confident after achieving two tremendous triumphs off his total seven starts. The James Daniel Dullea trained bay gelding has experienced a different racecourse every time.
Today, the six-year-old novice horse, who started his career unusually late, is going to test his racing credentials at Tipperary that will host Join The Tipperary Supporter´s Club 2013 Maiden Hurdle.
For the cash prize worth €5,175, a dozen of runners will compete over the heavy track of 2 miles.
Some analysts claim that the track surface is not favourable for Line View who is indulged to go over soft or good ones. This notion is logical enough, but we must keep in mind that none of the entire line-up has experienced heavy grounds well.
Despite the fact that Line View tumbled badly in his last outing at the heavy course of Punchestown, he poses to be best of all the twelve contestants for his feats and skills.
The talented Irish horse is returning to action today after a long gap of almost six months. During this off-field period, he went through a lot of training that might have boosted up his stamina greatly.
Thus, the brilliant gelding will make a strong comeback today in a bid to register third career victory at Tipperary.
The son of Bach out of Line Jade debuted in November 2011. Having failed in his first two starts, he moved on to finish third in The Bridgie Terries Bar 6yo Geldings Maiden (Div 2), held at Dungarvan on January 22.
The Line View Syndicate owned runner broke his maiden with the ace title of the Dairygold & Rathbarry Stud 6yo Geldings Maiden that went down at Kildorrery on February 19.
The gelding’s second success came on April 15 when he beat Crocus Bay by a narrow margin to finish first in the Waterford & Tramore Centenary Year (C & G) (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race.
The fans of Line View are eager to watch him in action, thus, a big crowd is likely to gather at the venue. Good luck to the gelding.
