  1. Try the local newspapers or you could always e-mail them and I'm sure they'd give you the info you're looking for.... the Canarian Weekly is your best bet.... as for "try Lanzarote".... nice answer.... NOT!  I live in Lanzarote, have done for the past 6 years and sorry, wouldn't recommend it for holidays but if you're g*y then Gran Canaria is the place to go!!!!

  2. Line dancing in PLA? That is the home to drunken Scottish hooligans I thought.

Oh and I once got mugged there too.

Why not go somewhere nicer like Lanzarotte or Gran Canaria?

  3. Hello there Dancing Car.

First of all, I cannot resist telling the first answerer that he has obviously no idea what on earth he's talking about and if he can't say anything nice, he should simply shut up!

So.. back to your question dancingcar... Yes, Tenerife is an excellent place for a holiday- like you, I've been many times and will be there again in June- I can give you a couple of venues for line dancing- I'm not into line dancing myself but I hear it's great fun :-)

I couldn't find a website but heres one place you can try:

    The Celts Tavern

    Upper Floor,

    C.C. Bouganville,

    Pueblo Canario

    Playa de Las Americas

    And number 2

I also came accross this information regarding a popular country & western singer...

"Steven J. Towers is now at the TEXAS STEAK HOUSE in Playa de las Americas (on the main road between Palm Beach Club and The Hotel Gran Tinerfe). It is a lovely venue with a large dance floor. Line dancers are welcome. He plays music to suit everyone, line dance, country, ballads etc. Please pass this information onto anyone visiting Tenerife as many have been trying to locate him and were unaware of his move to a new venue."

I hope this helps you out- have a great time... keep dancing!

    All the best!
