Line down page when I print

Question

There is a light, dotted line down the page when I print or copy. It used to be just when I copied, but now is for printing as well. I have cleaned the two glass areas with alcohol, but the problem persists? Is there anything I can do? Since the probem occurs when I print as well as when I copy, I'm thinking that it may not be the scanner.Many thanks!Joanne
