meridian and the date changes by one day as the line is crossed. On crossing this line from east to west a day is added and a day subtracted on crossing it from west to east????????please answer!!!!!

  1. I  think perhaps you mis-typed "180 E".  The line you are thinking of is called the "International Date Line".  It zig-zags around the 180 E / 180 W line.  The zig-zag is so that line goes around countries, instead of right through the middle.


  2. I think you are looking for the "International Date Line" which roughly corresponds to 180 degrees E or W longitude.

    (I am guessing that you really meant 180 instead of 108 degrees.)
