  1. My guess is they only go up to 2ch 44.1 khz/16bit......you would need a higher end receiver for 96khz/24bit or 192khz/24bit like something from Yamaha, Onkyo or Denon.

  2. Hm. And where do you plan to find any content for that?

You may find at 96 kHz but 176.4?

  3. I'm not a big Bose advocate, here's why. Bose typically doesn't give their permission to the Home Theater mags and audio guru's to test. Their cube satellites are probably only good down to 100Hz at best, The Bose system will not reproduce your lows properly. The reason large is called large is because to get to the lower frequencies, you usually need speaker drivers that are close to 8" in diameter. The Bose  speaker system was not designed for listening to dynamic movie soundtracks, they were made for music listening at low to medium volume levels  in living rooms and dens. In a theater environment you will be pushing the Bose hard to give you the dynamics that you want and even then they may not be able to do it with good response and clarity.

Remember the human ear can only hear 20-20kHz.

    Sorry.
