Mark the point -v+2w and any other combination cv+dw with c+d=1. Draw the line of all combinations that have c+d=1.

  1. If the vectors are not identical then it is a line that intersects the end points of the vectors.

    If v = w then you just get a single point at the tip of v (or w since they are the same).
