  1. Sry I can't answer it now ( no paper I'm on iPhone ) but my advice is 2 get the x on the 0 side and use that after as a plugin to calculate y.;)

  3. You want us to solve? Use the quadratic equation:

    x = [-(5) +/- sqrt((5)^2 - 4(3)(c/5 - 3))] / [2(3)]

    = [-5 +/- sqrt(25 - 12(c/5 - 3)) / 6

    = [-5 +/- sqrt(61 - (12/5)c)] / 6

    That's about as simple as it goes.
