I have a sony DSC S700 Cyber shot.

It was fine but now ever photo i take has stripes (Lines)running horizontaly across it. i have a suspicion that it may have been dropped but am hoping that a setting has been altered.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem.

Thanks

  1. Lines on a photo can mean different things depending on what device you view the image on.

If you see it on your camera and computer display and prints then it's a corrupted file at the moment of capture and this could be caused by the card and/or camera's firmware. Check the camera manufacturer's tech support.

If the lines are only seen when you view it on your computer and prints then it's corrupt computer ram.

If it's only seen on the computer display and not on the prints, then you need to update the video driver.

  2. you probably dropped it, either that or water may have got into it, you should prob get it checked and repaired (hopefully still under warranty!! =] )
