My linksys wrtg45 router has been working great for a long time...recently it has been doing strange things...when i use the internet for a prolonged period of time it will stop the internet yet the computer does not recognize a network problem.....i can fix the problem by unplugging it for 10 seconds or so but then i eventually repeat the process....is there a way to permanently fix this???

  1. Many times, installing drivers and necessary software reduces unreliability of the router system. Try loading the included software CD. These type of wireless devices also need to stay cool. A computer fan may need to be modified to provide a flow of fresh, cool air to your Linksys. Finally, keep your network locked and secure with an encryption password of some sort. Neighboring wireless users may be "overloading" your router's user tolerance. Remember, don't let your network be public. Sincerely, D.
