Linksys router setup help pls? It says i am connected with signal strength excellent...but not on the internet

I have the Linksys wireless G-broadband router with 2 phone ports or WRP200. I never had problems with my wifi network until i decided to put a password. it worked for one day with the new password but the next day i couldn't connect to the internet. My wireless status always says connected with excellent signal strength but when i click on my browser it says i'm not connected to the internet. I am using the desktop right now which is connected directly to my modem. My laptop too is connected to the router but no internet. What should be my basic wireless setting? Should i set it on MIXED? G only? or B Only? Should i disable firewall? My modem is working perfectly so it's really my router that is messed up. Help me set it up please. Or is there anyway i can reset it to the way it was before i tweaked it??
