  1. Most likely Mixed, because it will give you both wireless -g and -n signals.

  2. 2-mixed.

This assumes you want G and B protocol.  A G router cannot accept an adapter with N protocol or A.  What adapter do you have on your computer?  They have to be in synch.  A to A,  B/G to G,   N to N

  3. Check all of your wireless adaptors.

If they can all be set to 'N' use that.

If only some can be set to 'N' but all can be set to 'G' try mixed. Then try setting them all to 'G' and try that. Settle for whichever gives you best performance.

    Otherwise you're stuck with 'G'.

If you have no wireless adaptors use Disable.

  4. If you have 11N wireless cards and 11G wireless cards, you will need to use Mix.

To be compatible and friendly to older wireless cards and laptops, you need to keep 11G enabled, so , "Mixed is your best option,

11N reaches up to 320 Mbps, while 11G ( the standard to a year ago) reaches 54Mbps only.

So, to be good to your not so up to date friends, Mixed is the best option.

    Hope this helps
