My computer can detect the Linksys wireless router yesterday and my computer says that it's connected and all that but the problem is the internet won't work! I don't understand why!!! Just 3 days ago the router was working fine but now it's gone haywire! I've tried plugging and unplugging the modem and the router but still, nothing's happening and I'm totally pissed off with it.

Another problem is that just today, the computer can't detect the router anymore which is a bigger problem for me. What the h**l can I do? It used to work fine then all of a sudden it doesn't!

  1. Run the disk that came with the router, it will help you configure the router to connect to the internet.

  2. Ok, maybe you need to set up the router all over again, did you happen to press the reset button on back of the router at all? If not, then is the yellow or white "Cisco Systems" button lighting up in front of the router?

ANother answer might be that the router is fired. You're going to need a new one.
