  1. go to a floor store (not Lowe"s or the depot or any other diy place) and speak to someone who deals with vinyl everyday.  One clue that someone doesn"t know what they are talking about: It is vinyl, not linoleum. Linoleum is an ancient product that originally was made from linseed oil amongst other ingredients; hence the word linoleum was born.

  2. Lowes and the home depot both carry it here in Phoenix, AZ.

  3. Linoleum is typically available at flooring supply stores.  Why not try vinyl or even vinyl tiles.

  4. There are flooring stores that sale linoleum and can answer all the questions that you have perfectly

  5. The quality of Linoleum, both in designs and durability , have improved considerably over the past few years. Home SDepot, Lowes or any reputable floor store will have many choices and manufacturers. Tile and vinyl are OK but linoleim may still be cheaper.

  6. If you are going to do it yourself, I would recommend self stick (peel and stick, they're called sometimes) tiles.  They are vinyl, come in lots of cool styles and are 12X12 (very manageable size). They carry these at most Home Improvement stores.  Armstrong is one major manufacturer.  They have a website that probably can give you your local distributors info.

  7. for the best price you could try home depo or lowes both carry linoleum and about the same price now trying to get the right help once your there thats another problem,But the cost in it is the backing, the paper backed is not as long lasting and does hold odor, and will show any wet stain that gets under it though the surface,The felt back is alot better Domco is the major producer of that line and mannington make a great product too,Just feel the thickness the thicker the better, even the cheaper paper back can get you by but stay clear of the thin mess even more so if your putting it down yourself,it is like tissue paper to work with

  8. Home Depot / Lowes / Flooring supply co.

    Lower end / cheapest

VCT (Vinyl Squares) .75 sq ft

    Sheet Vinyl              1.75 sq ft

    Laminate                 1.00 sq ft

Don't know if you plan on installing it yourself
